Ridgeline

About

Small crew, same faces, since 2009

We stayed small on purpose. No rotating day-labor crews, no subcontracted mystery painters. The people who show up at your house are the people who have been here for years.

Why we do it this way

I started painting up here in 2009 and spent the first few years watching homeowners get burned the same two ways: a bid that was really just a number, and a crew that vanished for a week to go start somebody else's job.

So we do the opposite. Estimates are line-itemed by surface, coat, and product, which means you can hold our bid next to anyone else's and actually compare them. And once we start your job, we stay on it until it's done.

The last thing: we don't invoice until you've walked the job with us and you're happy. If something needs fixing, we fix it first. That order has never changed and it never will.

What we run on

Prep before paint

Wash, scrape, sand, patch, prime. Most of a good paint job happens before the finish coat, and it's the first thing a low bid cuts.

Products rated for 6,000 feet

Mountain UV and forty freeze-thaw cycles a season punish coatings that would last a decade at sea level. We spec accordingly.

The Ridgeline Promise

We don't ask for final payment until you've walked the job with us and you're happy. If something isn't right, we fix it before we cash the check.

Serving Truckee, Tahoe Donner, Glenshire, Martis Camp, Tahoe City, Kings Beach, Incline Village, and Northstar.
