Exterior Painting
Paint that survives a Tahoe winter
At 6,000 feet, exterior paint takes UV that would embarrass a coastal job, then freezes, then thaws, then does it again forty times a season. Coating choice and prep matter more here than anywhere, and so does timing: we schedule exteriors inside the window where temperatures actually let the product cure.
What's included
- Wash, scrape, and sand to sound substrate, not a spray-over
- Full primer on bare wood and every problem area
- Coatings rated for high-UV, high-freeze-thaw mountain exposure
- Caulking at every joint that moves, which up here is all of them
- Scheduled inside the cure window, not squeezed into late October
What most bids leave out
An exterior painted in the wrong month can fail in a single winter no matter what's in the can. We'd rather book you for June than take your money in November.
Before After ★★★★★
“Third painter we've hired on this house and the first one whose work still looks new after four winters.”
The Ridgeline Promise
